Behind-these-eyes - June 18th, 2005

Darcie (Mouse) photo Bailey in fascination with the camera... yeah, i would be too if there was a light flashing at me!

So this is Darcie's Bailey, and also Bailey from Seeing Through Tears. This is a perfect shot of his beautiful face. (Darcie is an amazing photographer. she was the school newspaper's photo editor last semester) Look at him, damn it! It's like he knows it's a photo shoot and is purposely posing prettily. You can't really see how blue his eyes are in this picture... i know there's one some where that really emphasizes his blue eyes, I'll try and get that one up too.

I used to be an extreme dog person before Bailey came along. Sure, Darcie’s cats had other litters that I “cooed” over, but I’m allergic and found that cats could become annoying. There’s something about Bailey though. He just has so much life and childishness to him. He’s so unique. Everywhere he went he’d always tackle and wrestle everything he could. He big blue eyes darted everywhere in fascination and amazement at new discoveries. (Even if he discovered that same thing a few minutes ago). I love this kitty to death! Seriously, there’s nothing cuter than him tipping is head and meowing. His mother actually had three kittens in total, but the other two died right away, and Bailey was at risk of loosing his life too. (I don’t remember the full story, I’ll have to check with Darcie again, forgot… shut up it was a long time ago!) He was Darcie’s little miracle kitten, and I was torn when she had to give him away. (Her family wanted to take out the carpet and finally put in a new floor, so she couldn’t have anymore cats around… but bailey wasn’t the one making the mess!… I think.) The only thing I could think of was to have him in STT so he’s always be around. For those of you who don’t know, Darcie is on of the geniuses behind STT. She’s helped me come up with ideas too many times to count when I was and am lost and in writer's block.
